Doppio in Greenwich is a total vibe whether you sit indoors at a cozy, dimly lit table / the chic bar, or outdoors on the charming sidewalk. Hands-down some of the best spicy rigatoni vodka I have had in Connecticut—and the fried artichoke app is to die for! Stellar wine menu, too.

Doppio has one of my favorite pizzas, the Diavola, which consists of fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, and chili oil. The chili oil gives it the perfect spicy kick. It comes with 6 slices, great to share with another person. I’ve also tried their prosciutto and arugula pizza, which comes with a generous amount of prosciutto. Both of these are thin-crust pizzas. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant, as well as street parking which is free after 5 PM.

Doppio is our family's FAVORITE restaurant. The cozy atmosphere and delicious food make it a weekly stop with the kids or just a date night at the bar. WE are always welcomed with a smile and excellent service. Thrilled that we have this haunt in our community.

This pizza restaurant is the most delicious I have ever eaten. The environment is great, the ingredients are great, and the service is also very warm. My wife and I had a good night. I will come back again!

Doppio in Greenwich is a charming Italian eatery that blends upscale ambiance with the comfort of a neighborhood favorite. The atmosphere is inviting—ideal for a casual lunch, a date night, or even a cozy dinner with friends. We ordered the Penne alla Vodka and the Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza, and both dishes were excellent. Penne alla Vodka: The sauce was rich and creamy with just the right touch of tomato and a subtle vodka kick. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the portion was generous without being overwhelming. Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza: A standout! The thin, crisp crust had just the right amount of char. Topped with fresh arugula, delicate slices of prosciutto, and shaved Parmesan, every bite was fresh, savory, and well-balanced. The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience felt relaxed but refined. Whether you’re craving classic pasta or wood-fired pizza, Doppio in Greenwich is absolutely worth a visit. We hit the place up a couple times a year. They are very consistent, I keep it simple and get the Margarita. If you are in that area for shopping it's a great choice as its solid food and you are in and out generally with no wait.

Doppio, nestled in the heart of Greenwich at 41 E Elm St, stands out as a refined yet inviting Italian restaurant that masterfully balances upscale ambiance with a neighborhood charm. From dimly lit indoor tables to the chic bar and the charming sidewalk patio, every seating option sets the perfect tone for an intimate dinner or a lively night out.

The real star at Doppio is its food. The spicy rigatoni alla vodka is a revelation — creamy, rich, with a delicate hint of vodka that elevates the tomato sauce without overpowering it. Each bite reveals perfectly cooked pasta that holds just enough bite, accompanied by a sauce that’s indulgent yet balanced. As someone who appreciates authentic Italian flavors, this dish struck a harmonious chord that keeps me coming back.

Equally impressive are their wood-fired pizzas, especially the Diavola and the Prosciutto & Arugula. The Diavola pizza packs a satisfying fiery punch thanks to the chili oil combined with fresh mozzarella and pepperoni on a thin, crisp crust. The Prosciutto & Arugula pizza offers freshness through its peppery greens and delicate slices of prosciutto, paired with a slight char that hints at the expertise behind their oven. Each pizza slice reveals a thoughtfully crafted balance between texture and flavor, making them ideal for sharing or savoring solo.

The fried artichoke appetizer remains unforgettable — light, crispy, and brimming with flavor, it perfectly complements the wine selections curated on their stellar menu. Speaking of wine, Doppio’s wine list is thoughtful and well-rounded, providing a great match to the bold flavors of their cuisine.

Beyond the food, what truly enhances the Doppio experience is the warmth of service and the welcoming atmosphere. Whether on a family night out or a quiet date, staff greet you with genuine smiles and attentive care, making every visit feel special and relaxed.

In essence, Doppio captures the essence of authentic Italian dining through careful ingredient selection, expert preparation, and an environment that feels both exclusive and comfortable. It’s a culinary gem in Greenwich that implores every Italian food lover to experience its pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and charming vibe firsthand.
